Hood, Wanda (nee Joy)…. peacefully passed away at Hospice Peterborough on Sunday October 13th, 2024 at the age of 68 years. Beloved wife of Michael Kenneth Hood. Proud and devoted mother of Lisa Kaye Hood (Richard Dambrosi), Kelly Jean Hood (Phillip Moore), David Michael Hood (Michelle Ouderkirk), Stephen Joseph Hood and grandmother of Ian, Ellie, Theo, Makyla, Adeline and Sophia. Loving sister to David Joy (Frances), Bonnie Arsenault (Robert), Dan Joy, Wayne Joy (Lynn), Susan Payne (Carl Cormier) and the late Barbara LaCombe (Adrien) and sister in law to Julie Lynn Andrews (Barry) and Linda Ellen Mattice (Wayne). She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Wanda is predeceased by parents Thomas Joy & Hilda Cullen (John “Joe”), her parents in law Kenneth Charles & Patsy Jean Hood. Visitation will be held at Weaver – 29 Bay St., Trenton on Monday October 21st, 2024 from 12:30 – 1:30pm, followed by a funeral ceremony at 1:30pm.
