Bateman, Walter… Passed away peacefully at the Belleville General Hospital on Monday, September 2, 2024 at the age of 87 years. Beloved husband of the late Carolynne Margaret Bateman. Loving father to Lynn Benjamin and her husband Derek of Consecon, Laura Bateman of Kingston, Mark Bateman of Consecon and his adopted daughter Penelope Clarke. Dear grandpa to James Benjamin, Judy Benjamin, Janice Benjamin and great grandpa to her great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by all his extended family. Survived by his sister Sheila Moore (Bill) of Campbellford. At Walter’s request there will not be any visitation or service and cremation to take place.
