It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Frank. He passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on Tuesday, May 18th, 2021 in his 87th year. Son of the late Randolph and Gertrude Troke. Beloved husband and best friend to Dolores Troke (nee Buttinger) for the past 65 years. Cherished father to Jamie Troke (Nancy) of Bellville, Toni Troke (Erick Mofina) of Belleville, Kelly Twyman (Mike) of Brighton and Chris Troke (Angela) of Victoria, B.C. Frank is predeceased by his sister Diane, brother Ronald (late Ruby) and grandson Justin. Survived by brother Gary Troke (Sheila). He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Leisha (Eric Pool), Tasha, Natalie, Mikayla, Nicole, Chelsea and great-grandson Cohen. He will also be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. As a retired member of the Royal Canadian Airforce, Frank travelled the world. He was a proud business owner and local developer, building Riverside Business Centre Trenton’s first commercial condo building and owning/operating Trenton Collision for several decades. Upon retirement, he moved from the airway to the fairway, spending many enjoyable years in Florida, hosting driveway parties, skydiving at 75 and celebrating not one but 3 hole-in-ones at The Hamptons. Frank also spent countless hours fishing on the Trent River. He was known as a storyteller and was seen as a mentor to his children. As a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Trenton (Branch #110), the family will hold a celebration of life on August 13th, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements are entrusted to the John R. Bush Funeral Home, 80 Highland Ave., Belleville (613-968-5588). If desired, donations to The Poppy Fund or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
