SOOLEPP, Toivo … Passed away peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Friday, June 2nd, 2023. Beloved husband of Liisa Kald-Soolepp. Loving father of Katrin & Erika Soolepp. Cherished brother of Margus Soolepp (Linda), uncle of Kristina (Armand Lepik) & Emma Soolepp and cousin of Mai Liis Doyle. He will be truly missed by his half sister Ene Rahnu and her family.
Thank you to all the emergency staff at Campbellford Memorial Hospital and the ICU staff at PRHC for all their care and support. A special thank you to all the 1st responders who responded and assisted Toivo.
Toivo was a strong, active man who lived every minute of his life to the fullest. He had a terrific sense of humor, a positive outlook and a willingness to help whenever his knowledge, service or support was needed. He had a wide scope of interests and dedicated his life to his family, friends, work and community. This was unequivocally proven in that you’d be hard pressed to find a community within 500 km’s or more where someone hadn’t had the pleasure of knowing the man Toivo. What a talker; he could converse equitably about anything, anyone would bring up. Husband, father, volunteer firefighter, fisherman, consultant to businesses and individuals, historian, superior workman, logician, crossword puzzler, tower climber, electronics specialist, and so much more. He will be missed by so many people whose lives he has touched.
The family would appreciate any stories, memories or photos of Toivo to be shared with them via email at Soolepp@hotmail.com
