Some Notes from the the family:
He’ll be missed mostly by the love of his life, his “dear” Leola, wife of 69 years and partner of 70 years.
He was a gifted carver. Beginning with decoys and a variety of other birds, and then he embraced his Mohawk ancestry and made flutes, drums and other traditional items .
His art brought him joy and he gifted many pieces to his family and friends.
He loved the outdoors …hunting from his handmade blind…fishing in the bay of quinte and watching the birds.
He loved watching his 6 grandkids and 6 great grandkids grow up and cherished all the times spent with them at his home and cottage.
He was also an avid lover of all sports. He enjoyed, hockey, bowling, archery to list just a few.
