Yager, Robert Alexander “Bob” …born June 7, 1943 in Kirkland Lake passed away surrounded by his family at the Kingston General Hospital on June 16, 2019 at the age of 76 years. Bob will be sadly missed by his companion Sharyn Bachlet, his daughters Lynn Croteau (Geoffrey) and Cathy Yager (Rodney Harrison), and step daughter Allison Bachlet (Kevin Davies). Predeceased by his parents Fred and Gladys “Pete” Yager, and his sister Karen Goudy (Greg Goudy). Loving grandfather to Spencer Harrison, Astraeus Davies Bachlet & Vagn Lange and remembered by his niece Alison Steinman. Also remembered by a large clan of cousins, both Petersen & Yager.
Retired Partner with Wilkinson & Company where he spent over 40 years of his career. Bob was past President of the Rotary Club of Trenton and past board member of the RCAF Museum. He was an avid golfer and fisherman, and had a great passion for history. The culmination of that passion was his being able to experience his own flight in the Lancaster Bomber in September 2018. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Trent Port Marina on Friday, June 21, 2019 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM, with tributes to be shared at 3:00 PM. Donations in memory of Bob to the P.K.D.
