GUNTER, Robert Nelson…passed away at Carrington Retirement Residence on Thursday, October 31st, 2019 in his 90th year. Beloved husband and best friend for 54 years to the late Jean Gunter nee Wiggins. Loving father to Wendy Watson (Brian) of Mississauga and Jill McColl (James) of Stouffville. Cherished grandfather to Kenneth (Lisa), Jordan (Cameron), Shane and Charity (Ed) Watson and Jamie (Mandy) and Connor McColl and great grandfather to James McColl. Predeceased by his parents Angus & Stella Gunter. Robert was a member of St. George’s Anglican Church, Past President of the Trenton Garden Club, member of the Morse Telegrapher Club and retired from a life long career with Canadian National Railway as a Carload Manager. The family will receive friends at Weaver – East, 29 Bay St., Trenton on Friday, November 8th, 2019 from 1:00 – 2:00 PM. Funeral ceremony will follow at 2:00 PM. Interment St. George’s Cemetery.
