Roberts, Pippa (CAF – Ret’d SGT after 33 years)… Passed away at the Campbellford Memorial Hospital on Friday, May 17, 2024 at the age of 69 years. She will be deeply missed by her family: her loving sisters, Jane Roberts (John) and Ann Cowan (Bruce) and her brothers Ian Roberts (Carol) and Dave Roberts (LauraLee) and also by her many nieces and nephews. Her loving mother, Eileen predeceased Pippa in 2022. Thankfully, they had a great visit in 2019 when Pip went to see Mom on the island. Pip chronicled the daily events in her daily blog to the family and Pippa’s wit, sparkle and unique outlook on life always shone through. Pippa was a kind and thoughtful soul with an irrational love of ginger cats dogs and elephants. In addition to her family, she will also be missed by her friends Chick Reid and Tom McCamus. They are true examples of what it means to be friends. Her absence at the Legion and the local Tim Horton’s will truly be felt, so the family hopes that glasses and cups will be raised in her honour! At Pip’s request, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
