With heavy hearts and much love, we sadly announce Pete’s peaceful passing in his 68th year at Quinte Hospice surrounded by his Family. Father of cherished and much-loved daughter Kendra Uens, Best friend to Nancy Elliott, Brother of Jack (the late Connie) Uens, Susan Kolbinson (Ernie Schroder), Todd (Susan) Uens. Pete will also be missed by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Mons Lorraine (Mickey) Uens and John Uens, and his beloved Sister Maribeth Ethel Uens.
Peter made a positive impact as a service advisor and parts specialist, working at Trudeau Motors, Benson’s Automotive and Belleville Truck Centre.
Pete had a way of brightening up any room with his unmatched, infectious sense of humour, it too will be deeply missed.
Many sincere thanks to the Kingston General Hospital for their professionalism in diagnosis and supporting his wishes. A heartfelt thank you to the staff and volunteers at Quinte Hospice, for their compassion and support in a most comforting environment.
