Murtha, Patricia “Pat”… peacefully passed away at Trenton Memorial Hospital on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 83. Beloved wife of Mike Murtha for over 60 years, dear mother to Michelle Murtha-Weir (Vince Weir) and Lisa Murtha (Mark Morse), proud grandmother to Morgan (Brandon), Kyle, and Bridget, and great-grandmother to Logan. Pat grew up in Beamsville, Ontario, and spent many years raising her family in Ancaster, Ontario. She and Mike built their cottage in the sixties and traveled the world together. Pat worked at the Bank of Montreal and Investors Group and was a Girl Guide Leader. She loved gardening, needlework, baking, and making memories with her family and treasured friends. Pat is predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Mona Betteridge. A memorial service will take place at Weaver Life Centre, 29 Bay Street, Trenton, on Saturday, October 19 at 2 pm, followed by a celebration of life reception until 4 pm.
