Taylor, S. Marlene…passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the Eden House Nursing Home, Guelph on Monday, July 10, 2023 at the age of 88 years. Marlene was born in New Glasgow, N.S. and was the daughter of the late Earl & Catherine Kellock. Beloved wife of the late James Taylor. Dear mother to Freeman (Sonja) Taylor of Edmonton, AB, Anne Louise Haynes of Guelph, Jean (Brad) Cole of Madoc, Margaret (Rick) Lessard of Guelph and predeceased by her son Kevin. Loving grandma to Jessie (Travis) Wilkins, Kevin (Ashley) Taylor, Amber (Jason) Shutsa, Patrick (Jenny) Cole, Stephanie Cole (Mike Bowler), Tyler (Chelsea) Lessard, Jordan Lessard and GiGi to her 10 great grandchildren. At Marlene’s request cremation will be taking place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
