Keene, Lynne (nee Ellis)… passed away at Crown Ridge Place, Trenton on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at the age of 82 years. Beloved wife of the late Robert “Bob” Keene. Dear mother to Kelli Estabrooks & her husband Victor, Ken Keene & his wife Maria, Korey Keene & his wife Tracy and Kerri Wilson & her husband Brad. Dear grandmother to Rachel, Kaitlyn, Victoria, Cassandra, Ian, Lindsey, Ben, Lauren, Sarah, Hayden, Nathan, Samantha and Keaton and two great granddaughter’s Gracelynn and Kadence. Predeceased by her grandson Robert. Survived by her brother Lee Ellis & his wife Mary and brother in law Larry Keene & his wife Patricia “Pat”. Lynne was longtime member of Consecon United Church and was very supportive with the U.C.W. and Women’s Institute. Lynne was very well known for her baking ability and was affectionately referred to as Lynne the pie maker. Her memory will be treasured always. The family will receive friends at the Weaver Life Centre, 29 Bay Street on Monday, July 17, 2023 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm with funeral ceremony to follow at 1 pm. Reception to follow. Cremation will take place after the service and interment of her cremated remains will take place Salem Cemetery, Prince Edward County at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
