MILBURY, Lynn Marie (nee Oakman) passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Thursday May 2nd, 2024 at the age of 71. Loving wife of the late Gordon Milbury. Predeceased by her parents William “Bill” & Alexandrina “Rena”Oakman. She is the loving sister of William “Bill” (Lynn Coe), the late Lori, Doug (Kim), Scott (Michelle) and Donna Oakman-Fyfe. Lynn will be lovingly remembered by her in laws; Glenda McKinnon (Ken), Margaret Lacey (Wayne), the late Paul (Lee), Lori LeBlond; predeceased by her sister in law Dianne and dearly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Her heart overflowed with maternal love for her loyal companions, Liberation (deceased), Wolf (deceased), Satan (deceased), Ernie (deceased), Bert (deceased), Bob (deceased), Jake (deceased), Abby and Rookie whom she cared for and cherished as her children. The family would also like to thank neighbours Barb, Meg and Colin and Deanna from Community Care for their friendship, help and support for Lynn and Gord. Cremation will take place and a celebration of life for both Lynn & Gordon will be held at a later date.
