It is with great sadness that the family of John “Donald” Swyers announce his sudden passing at the Medical Sciences Centre in St. John’s Newfoundland on July 4th 2024. He will be sadly missed by his daughter Pauline Swyers,his siblings Jerry of Mattis Point Newfoundland, Gary (Linda) of Trenton Ontario, Doris Swyers of Stephenville Newfoundland, Carolyn Marks (Ray) of Conyers Georgia and Georgina of Bradenton Florida.
Don was predeceased by his loving wife Frances, son Calvin, grand daughter Taylor Murphy, siblings Linda Shaw, Walter Swyers and Derrick Swyers along with his parents Dorthy and Stan Swyers.
Following his wishes, cremation has taken place. Family & Friends are invited to visit at The Grand in Belleville for A Celebration of Don’s Life on Thursday August 8th at 3:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery on Friday August 9th at 2:00pm.
