Jessie passed away at Ed’s House, Cobourg on Thursday May 9th, 2024 at the age of 99. Predeceased by her loving husband of 67 years Arthur “Skid”. Devoted mother of Sharron Skidmore (Don Cooper). Predeceased by her sister Marion (Tom Hunt), brother Bill Paisley (Chris) and remembered by her nephews. At 18 she worked for the British Secret Service in New York for William Stevenson during WW2. During many moves Jessie was so devoted to her family, always creating a loving, nurturing home and calling Hillcrest St., Trenton home for the last 55 years. An animal and nature lover, an independent spirit with a questioning mind until the end. She was a strong woman who determinedly lived on her own after Skid’s death.
