Niezen, Hiddo Henderikus… has gone home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 12, 2024 at the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital in his 91st year. Beloved husband to the late Jean Niezen. Loving father to Yvonne Boyer & her husband Michael. Survived by his siblings; Anna (Robert), Gerard (Doreen), Augusta (Vince), Fred (Mary), Henk (Veronica) and predeceased by siblings; Bronno (Ans), Henny (Amel), Evert(Aldina) and Paul (Elizabeth). Hiddo will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and all of the extended family. The legacy he leaves with his family and friends will be his love of singing to his Lord, the same as his beloved Jean. The family wish to extend their thanks to Crown Ridge Nursing Home for all the care and compassion for Hiddo. A service of remembrance will be held at the Eddystone Baptist Church, 378 Eddystone Rd, Grafton, Ontario on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at 1:30 with a time of visitation starting at 12:30 pm. Interment to follow at Eddystone Baptist Church Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Scott Mission or your local food bank would be greatly appreciated by the family.
