Holmden, Eric …. passed away peacefully at Campbellford Memorial Hospital on December 11, 2024 at the age of 84 years. Beloved husband of Doreen Holmden Chrysler (nee Beavis) for 51 years. Loving father of Christopher Holmden (Kathrin) of Saskatoon, Treena Mumby (Rick) of Whitby. His step family Larry Chrysler (Lisa), Eunice Stapley (Ed) the late Bryce Chrysler (Sharon), Scott Chrysler (Linda) and Rick Gillespie (Shelagh). Cherished grandfather and Poppa Eric of several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Eric was a past district governor and lifetime member of the Lions Club, a town council member and board member of St. Johns United Church. Family and Friends are invited to visit at the Weaver Family Funeral Home Campbellford – 77 Second Street, on Saturday January 18th from 11:00am – 1:00 pm followed by a Lions Service at 1:00pm with a funeral service following. A spring interment will be held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Campbellford Hospital Foundation or St. John’s United Church would be appreciated by the family.
