PORTE, Eric Leighton … passed away on Friday, March 1st, 2024 at his home at the age of 53 years. Eric had a wonderful sense of humour that was infectious to all that knew him. His smile was one that would light up a room. He had a great love of animals and also loved the open road on his motorcycle. Eric will be forever remembered by his former spouse Josee Lachance and his sisters Karin Porte and Audra (John) Oakes. He will be fondly remembered by Josee’s family; Denise (Dominique), Mario (Isabelle), Dominick and Steven. Eric treasured his cats Angus and Beemer. Predeceased by his mother Nance Porte (nee Gritter).
A memorial visitation will be held at the Weaver Life Centre, 29 Bay Street, Trenton on Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The family kindly asks that donations be made to Fixed Fur Life in Eric’s memory would be appreciated in recognition of his love of animals.
