ELLIS, Berta Jean
August 3, 1929 – March 23, 2025
Peacefully entered into rest at Hospice Prince Edward, Picton, on Sunday, March 23, 2025, Jean Ellis (nee Campbell) died at the age of 95. Former wife of the late Jack Ellis. Loving mother of Faye Campbell (Lorne Bailen) of Wellington, Connie Burnett (Allan) of Belleville, and Ray Ellis (Dianne) of Cherry Valley. Dearest grandma of Michael (Lisa), Kimberley (Dave), John (Vanessa), and Jenna (Mark) and great grandma of Harley, Archer, Jude, Owen, Natalie, Linkoln, Finnley, Ella, and Nick. Remembered by her brother-in-law Paul Ellis (Karen) of Kingston and her nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Jean’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Main Street, Wellington, on Monday, March 31, 2025 at 11 am with Archdeacon Nancy Northgrave officiating.
