Edward Bruce Bishop
Born in Belleville July 2, 1926, passed away peacefully at the John M. Parrott Centre, Napanee on Monday, October 7, 2024 in his 99th year.
Bruce will always be loved and missed by his wife of 75 years Pauline (Cassan); his children – Mark (Jane), Anne, and Julie (Stuart); grandchildren Taila (Stacy), Amber (Hardy), Jamieson (Katie), Rachael, and Rebecca (James); great grandchildren, Heiko, Felix, Bowyn, Nyssa, and Ferys. Also remembered by his sister-in-law Miriam and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Charles Bishop and Laura (Morton); siblings Bill Bishop and Dorothy McCormick.
Bruce was the president of Bishop Seeds, a 100 year-old family business. He loved to play golf, fish, hunt, and tell stories about his exploits and world travels. He loved racing motorcycles and sea-fleas before the kids came along. He was a people person who made many fast friends.
Cremation has taken place and the family will hold a private interment and celebration of life at a later date.
