It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carl Clifford Fairman, peacefully at Warkworth Place Manor on Friday March 28, 2025 at the age of 75.
He is survived by his wife Darlene (nee Hogg) of almost 55 yrs.
He was a man of few words unless it was about hunting or fishing, but he loved the title of Dad. He was extremely proud of his two children, Linda (Eric Bearisto) of Kingston and Peter (Renee) of Trent Hills. But his all time favourite title was Grandpa. He loved the days of going to hockey, football and baseball games to support the boys. He is survived by Brandon (Jazmin), Rourke (Abigail), Riley and Connor (Chelsey). He was always up for a road trip with Renee to head to something for any of the boys. He was a proud Great Grandpa to Harper, Maddox and Remington. He will be greatly missed by his sisters Marilyn Akins (Carl) and Carolyn Fairman and as a brother in law to James Hogg (Leah) and Charlene Smith (Ron Clarke).
He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
We want to thank the staff at Warkworth Place Manor for the care and support you gave dad over his 4+ years. Who would have thought that dad would play the Ukulele, but he did and he loved it. Dad will be thought of often, missed greatly, and talked about for many years to come. We know him and his long time friend Duke (Boxell) are up there having a beer and telling some crazy hunting and fishing stories.
As dad didn’t want anything but a party, the family is welcoming everyone to the Royal Canadian Legion Campbellford Br# 103 Vimy Room on Sunday April 27th, 2025 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm. If desired, memorial donations to the Ontario Federation of Anglers & Hunters would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences at www.weaverfuneralhomes.com
