AMES, Betty Illean…passed away on Monday, September 23rd, 2024 at Pleasant Meadow Manor Nursing Home in Norwood at the age of 97 years. Beloved wife for 66 years to her late husband Fred Ames who passed in 2016. Dear mother of Donna Wilson (Steve), David Ames (Terri) and Lorie O’Rourke (Kevin) all of Campbellford. Loving grandmother of Kristin Kelleher (Sean), Kaley Wilson (Pale Thomas), Kaidre Wilson, Sarah Greenly (Jody), Bethany Miron, Raylee Gerelus (Mike), Reanne O’Rourke (Darcy LeBlanc). Great grandmother to Dylan and Brennan Kelleher, Linkoln and Mataya Thomas, Lyrik Kidd, Nathan and Ella Greenly, Valla and Leo Gerelus and Vienna LeBlanc. Betty is survived by her sister Ena Kerr (Dennis). She is predeceased by her parents Ray & Kathleen McCulloch (nee Longmuir), her sister Freda Ross (Jim) and her great grandson Mathieu Miron. At Betty’s request, a private graveside service will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Campbellford.
