A number of child care centres in the Hastings-Quinte area will get upgrades for health and safety this year thanks to new provincial funding.
The 70-thousand-522 dollars will be used on a number of projects at 13-centres. More than 13-thousand will be spent on painting the interior of First Adventure…it will also get new insulation and toilets. The New Old Schoolhouse day care gets nearly 12-thousand dollars in new windows. And a seven-thousand dollar industrial convection oven will be installed at the Trenton Military Family Resource Centre Daycare.
