The Vision Statement is “Service Excellence” and it’s a plan for the next three years for Belleville’s Police Service. The Strategic Plan was presented to member’s of the Police Service Board today and sets the goals and objectives in eight different areas including criminal investigations, communication and road safety. Police Chief Cory McMullan says they’ve already “jumped the gun” and assembled a new traffic unit…and, will also be initiating new programs in the downtown core with regular assigned officers for the city centre.
