No one was injured but a family pet died in a massive house fire in Thurlow on Sunday. Belleville Fire Chief Ray Chaput says the home on Blessington Road went up in flames at 2 o’clock….and, the residents escaped unharmed thanks to the smoke alarms. Chaput says damage is estimated at 250-thousand dollars. Chief Chaput says the cause is still under investigation but is not considered suspicious.
