Foxboro Public School rules according to the latest grades from the Fraser Institute. The 2010 report card from the right-wing think tank analyzes province wide tests results in writing, reading and math to come up with rankings for elementary schools and this this year Foxboro leads the way with a grade of 7.9 out of 10. Cite Jeunesse in Trenton is rated at 7.5 followed by Murray Centennial, Sir John A MacDonald in Belleville and Massassauga Rednersville at 6.9. Onteh other end of the scale….College Street Public in Trenton is rated .2 while Prince of Wales in Belleville is at 1.4.
Board of Eductaion officials have dismissed the report for years saying its not an accurate way to measure the effectiveness of local schools.
