A Gosport man has picketed in front of the Brighton municipal office for two days, expressing his concern about the Waterfront Master Plan.
Mike Martell took his place in front of the municipal building on Monday and yesterday, hoping to convince council to revisit the plan, which aims to redevelop the area surrounding his Gosport home.
He says he has tried to do it in a proactive way, but council doesn’t want to listen. Council approved the plan, which would see small-scale retail and residential buildings, public washrooms and a splash pad in Gosport, despite the objections of residents in the neighbourhood.
