The deadline has passed and, thanks to a public appeal last week, some decisions will have to be made on who makes the grade to sit on the Quinte Healthcare Advisory Committee. Chair of the Nominating Committee Jodie Jenkins says last week they had one interested person but now nearly 30-have applied to sit on the 18-member committee to act as what he calls “bridges” to the QHC Board. Next Tuesday, the Nominations Committee will begin combing through the applications.
