The O-P-P are investigating a possible attempted abduction of a child in Brighton.
The girl was walking home after school on Alice Street last Wednesday afternoon when a vehicle pulled up beside her and the driver stopped, opened the passenger door, and asked her if she wanted a ride.
The girl declined, and the vehicle sped off to Singleton Street. The driver is described as an elderly woman, with very masculine facial features, unruly white shoulder-length hair, and wearing heavy purple eye shadow, reading glasses and a coat.. There was also a white dog in the car. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Northumberland O-P-P or Crimestoppers.
