Johnny McKelvie, who didn’t want to be identified, told a public meeting last night in Picton he is willing to evaluate the situation, on an individual basis for all farmers who request it, and will probably charge to trap the animals.. McKelvie had a contract with the Natural Resources Ministry in Clarington for three years, and Gary Davis says the livestock losses there were 50-thousand dollars higher in 2009 than they were last year in the county.
