Northumberland County Council has approved several recommendations from staff about the issues of a second bridge in Campbellford.. Council yesterday decided to expand the steering committee discussing the proposal to include five more members, and meetings will be open to the public. The recommendations still have to be approved by Trent Hills council, but the committee will try to meet during the middle of February in a public session in Campbellford if that happens. The bridge options include a second structure downtown and one near Alma and Second Streets.
