The flood warning for the Trent River Watershed has been cancelled.
It was issued by Lower Trent Conservation yesterday in the midst of a 59-millimetre rainfall that caused high water levels and some flooding throughout the region.
The agency says levels along local creeks and streams have dropped from their peaks yesterday afternoon, and levels on the Trent River are expected to increase only slightly. As a result, no flooding problems are expected along the river at this time.
