Residents of a Palmer Rd. apartment building were evacuated following an overnight apartment fire.
Belleville emergency crews attended the scene at 191 Palmer Rd. to deal with a 7th story apartment fire.
Firefighters got the blaze under control while police assisted with evacuation of residents.
Evacuees were temporarily housed in nearby Centennial Secondary School, where members of Victim Services Belleville Transit and Red Cross were on hand to assist.
No one was injured.
The Belleville Fire Department is investigating.
