A thief has taken advantage of an unlocked door to steal money and prescription medicine from a house in Belleville’s East Hill.
City Police say a resident on Russell Street visited a neighbour for an hour yesterday morning, and someone used the door to get inside.
There was also an attempted break and enter to another house on Russell yesterday. Someone tried to get into the basement window in the same housing complex, but was unsuccessful.
