A plan, with 123-action ideas for the community, will be unveiled in Tweed tomorrow (today).
Chair of the Integrated Community Sustainability Plan, Don Degenova, says it covers economic, environmental, social, and cultural recommendations. He says, for instance, Tweed needs a major festival which would be a benefit culturally and economically. Earlier this year the group lobbied for a new Tweed library … the 900-thousand dollar project is going ahead with the help of stimulus funding from the provincial and federal governments.
