Officers conducted three programs on Wallbridge Road, Wallbridge Loyalist Road and Trenton Frankford Road at Bernard Long Road last evening.. A total of 575 motorists were stopped, 2 highway traffic Act charges were laid, 7 H-T-A equipment warnings were given, 3 72-hour report notices were issued and 1 roadside alcohol test was administered.
Officers will be out in full force tonight, enforcing drinking and driving rules, so motorists are advised to use Operation Rednose, take a taxi or public transportation, or take along a designated driver if they’re planning on a lot of celebrating.
