Traffic on a major roadway in Belleville’s east end was detoured for a short time while rail line crews made repairs to a faulty crossing arm.
Belleville Police issued a notice around 1:30 yesterday (SAT) afternoon asking the public to avoid the area of Dundas St. E. and Haig Rd.
The reason was malfunctioning rail crossing signals.
Dundas St., which also functions as provincial highway 2, was back to normal after Canadian Pacific rail crews finished their repairs around 3 p.m.
