The Reeve of Centre Hastings has made a New Year’s resolution of sorts…….Tom Deline told Council and public last night that 2010 should be the year of communication in Centre Hastings. Reeve Deline thanked the Centre Hastings Ratepayers Association for raising concerns about Council operations, and he says the municipality will produce detailed newsletters on major projects and decisions for residents next year. Meanwhile, the Ratepayers are asking for detailed financial information on spending for the the new Municipal Offices in Madoc, and on the renovation to a recreation center in the current offices in Ivanhoe.
