A disturbing incident is under investigation in Quinte West. Provincial police say a child was sexually assaulted while staying at the Holiday Day Inn in Trenton on Friday night. Police say the five-year-old girl was standing in the hall outside the family’s room when she was assaulted. The child was taken to hospital for treatment and released. Police are looking for a man, described as middle-aged with facial hair, and was wearing a black hat with white stripes on it. Police are reminding all parents to keep a close eye on their children while staying in hotels.
