About 60 people, including children, gathered to protest government inaction in Cobourg upon the opening of the climate summit in Denmark.
The crowd gathered at Victoria Hall in the city’s downtown core last night (SAT) to call on the Canadian government to take strong action against climate change.
The crowd also signed a petition urging Canadian Parliament to pass the Climate Change Accountability Act, which aims to drastically reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
