The Olympic torch makes its way through Quinte next week and will be stopping on Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory for a brief ceremony on Tuesday. Coordinator Sarah West says the torch will be carried along York Road to the Community Centre by Quinte Mohawk School students Camelia Maracle and Raven Tabo-ban-dung. The relay starts at Wymans and York Roads at 9:30 Tuesday morning and wraps up at the Quinte Mohawk School for a recognition assembly at 11:15.
