Deputy Chief Building Official Andy Harrison says 54 permits, including one for the new 1.4-million dollar Picton Water Treatment Plant, were issued in November.
There has been 84-million dollars in construction projects in Prince Edward so far this year, compared to 70.6-million in all of 2008.
