The slump is over for the Wellington Dukes… at least it seems to be… after they edged the North York Rangers 3-2 in a shootout last night.
Picton native Mitch Rosborough had the shootout winner in the 13th round… and goaltender Jordan Ruby made 30 saves in the win.
Meanwhile… six Trenton Golden Hawks had multi-point nights as they knocked off the Mississauga Chargers 6-4.
Brad Gehl had two goals, Evan Stibbard had a goal and two assists, and Jamie Haines had four helpers.
Both teams are off tonight… with the Dukes home to Upper Canada tomorrow.
The Hawks don’t play until Monday.
