The SouthEast Local Health Integration has slammed the door on a provincial reviewer considering the Murphy-Walsh report as part of the overall examination of Quinte Healthcare’s finances.
That resolution was approved at last week’s Q-H-C board meeting, but Spokeperson Susan Rowe says the LHIN responded yesterday that it would not permit the review to include Murphy-Walsh, a separate incentive to save millions of dollars.
Rowe says the board won’t make any decision on how to respond to LHIN until the next board meeting on December 17th.
