If yesterday’s clinics elsewhere in the Province are an indication as to what we can expect in Quinte….you could be standing in line for hours to get your swine flu shots which start today in Hastings and Prince Edward Counties.
The concern grew after two young people in Ontario died of the virus in the last few days. Ontario has had close to 30 deaths, six of them children, since April — about 90 per cent of them had underlying health conditions.
Today’s clinics, from one to seven o’clock, are at the Greek Hall in Belleville, Quinte West City Hall, Madoc Kiwanis Centre, the Elks Lodge in Picton and the Bancroft Professional Building. Information about the clinics later in the week is available on the Health Unit website.
