A section of street in Belleville’s East Hill will be transformed into an 1895 mystery scene if City Council agrees.
The Location Manager for The Murdoch Mysteries, a Canadian t-v drama series, wants permission to close Dufferin Avenue between Bridge and Dundas Street for 16 hours, beginning the afternoon of November 13th.
It isn’t known why the series wants to film in Belleville, what the plot of the program is, or when it will be shown on television.
City Council will get more information and make a decision on the street closure, when it meets at four o’clock this afternoon.
