H1N1 flu vaccinations are coming soon to a clinic near you!!! The Medical officer of health for the Hastings Prince Edward Health Unit, Dr. Richard Schabas, says it’s expected the vaccinations will be given starting sometime next week. The H1N1 shots will be administered in phases, with high risk groups, such as those working in healthcare, getting the vaccinations first. The dates, times, and locations of the clinics will be announced and posted on the Health Unit Website as soon as possible.
