Two calls for Belleville Police at 2:00 this morning.
The first was near the Bay Bridge and Dundas where a taxi driver reported being assaulted.
Police located the cab in a parking lot on Dundas… and arrested a 21 year old man who allegedly attacked the driver while the car was moving.
The suspect was taken to the station and released with charges of Assault and Assault with a weapon.
Police also responded to an accident around the same time and found a man trying to change a tire on the side of Cannifton Road.
He was identified as the driver… and found to be intoxicated.
He was charged with impaired driving and over 80 miligrams.
Both men have November court dates.
