The Prince Edward-Hastings Health Unit has released a little more information about the latest case of H-1-N-1 flu in the area.
Although they still won’t release any details about where the flu was contracted… or who contracted it… they say the patient did not have to be hospitalized… and was treated and recovering at home.
The Health Unit does say the virus was picked up in another part of the province.
Meanwhile… the Haliburton-Kawartha-Pine Ridge Health Unit says two residents of Northumberland County were also diagnosed with the virus.
Both were also treated at home and have recovered.
H-1-N-1 immunization clinic dates are expected to be announced within the coming weeks.
