A shopper at Quinte Mall has found out how quickly credit card thieves can act.
A woman phoned Belleville City Police late yesterday afternoon, reporting two cards were stolen from her purse earlier in the day.
The cards had already been used twice within 45 minutes at two stores for purchases of 450 dollars and 77 dollars.
The investigation continues.
